Meet the Ironcraft team – Leigh and Jordan

Meet the team

In this blog series, we are celebrating our talented team members. Every person at Ironcraft is committed to ensuring that our products are of the highest quality, from design through to manufacture and installation.

Since our founding, Ironcraft has remained in the Ayre family and grown to become a well-respected, local company that produces a huge variety of wrought iron products. With over 150 years of experience among us, we believe our success is down to the personal attention given to each and every one of our customers, and our dedication to creating high-quality products. Despite our growth, we have retained the small family feel and excellent service that is often missing when dealing with larger companies.

Next up…

Our staff have a wealth of experience in manufacturing and work in the yard, where they deal with fettling, spraying, welding, fitting and engineering.

A lot of our team have been with us for many years. Such experience provides Ironcraft with a unique and hugely skilled team that can turn their hands to many different and complex projects for our customers. Our staff are also keen to mentor new staff coming into the team!

Leigh

Leigh

Leigh has been with us since 2018 – he has worked in several areas in Ironcraft. Leigh started out as a fitter, working alongside side our automation engineer, and then moved to the yard. He's worked his way through the ranks and is now running the yard, organising the day-to-day aspects of this role. He still even turns his hand to fitting occasionally.

Leigh is renowned for always being cheerful and has a laugh that everyone recognises. He brings a smile to us all – thanks, Leigh!

Danny

Jordan

Jordan is the new kid on the block and is following in his father Wayne’s footsteps, who we have previously featured and has been with us for many, many years. Jordan joined the company six months ago and has turned his hand to fettling, cutting steel, and cleaning galv products – definitely throwing himself into the Ironcraft way. Thank you, Jordan!

He has also been out on site installing products, proving himself with the team. Jordan has been keen to learn and will maybe become an automation engineer like his dad one day. Good luck Jordan!
